IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The west entrance of Yellowstone National Park is just 10 miles from the cabin and just outside the town of West Yellowstone.

The closest town is West Yellowstone, Montana which is 9.6 miles away. There are two grocery stores, a variety of restaurants (BBQ, Brew Pub, Italian, Chinese, Steak Houses, Breakfast Cafes and more), book stores, coffee shops and lots and lots of gift shops! There are also numerous fly fishing outfitters and fly shops and some great outdoor clothing stores.

There are so many things to see and do right out the front door:

1. swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding on Lake Hebgen

2. playing on the 100' sandy beach

3. flyfishing Lake Hebgen, the Madison, Firehole and Yellowstone Rivers

4. horseback riding excursions are offered by multiple outfitters in the area

5. mountain biking and hiking

6. nature walks down the Madison Arm

7. wildlife viewing

8. sightseeing in Yellowstone National Park

9. watching Montana thunderstorms roll in across the lake

10. campfires under a starlit sky
